Regarding CCraft Updates (June 2018)

Hey everyone, it's been a while.

The news of my absence has been that my old HDD corrupted somehow (no idea, I was just playing Phantasy Star!). And since it has corrupted, I lost all the progress I had been making on CCraft for 1.11 (at the time). In fact, I was in the middle of testing it for release the night before the hdd corrupted and I lost all my data.

Thankfully, I had the 1.9 pack still on Mediafire. However, I lost all my progress with 1.11 and will be skipping right over it for 1.13.

What does this mean for CCraft?

I will resume work on CCraft ASAP. It had taken me a while to get all the parts for a new PC assembled, but now that I'm finally back online, I am itching to get CCraft updated again. I really adore this pack and want to keep making things for it as long as the game and MLP: FiM is an enjoyable experience.

I'll be working on version 1.13 from the pre-release textures. There is a lot of new stuff to do, and a lot of old stuff that I didn't back up to redo. This will take some time to make, and of course, research.

I sincerely apologize for my silence on the issue. Thank you for being patient with the pack and my progress (and my chronic procrastination).

I hope the upcoming months will prove to be interesting for CCraft.

Change of Pace

Caution: Not related to MLP or Minecraft (you have been forewarned)

Lately, my creative outlet has been crocheting. I've done it for about 10 years, and I suppose you could call me decent at it.

Also, as of late, I've been adoring the Geek & Sundry Twitch Channel and one of its shows, Critical Role, where a group of voice actors play Dungeons and Dragons.

CanterlotCraft 1.8

I've been working diligently (sorry for the silence) on CCraft 1.8. It is finally ready and in a state where I'm happy to release it!

Another 1.8 Preview

Hey everyone, I thought I'd pop up to let you know that I am indeed still alive and kicking, and I've been rather busy creating more textures, even reworking some old ones that have been driving me crazy for a while. Check out the newest stuff after the cut!

CanterlotCraft for Minecraft 1.8 preview!

Hey everyone! Sorry that I've pretty much conducted radio silence since January. I figured I should give you all an update on what's going on in the world of Plum Blossom. More after the cut!

Content Preview!

Applejack textures preview
I've been a busy little bee, working on bringing back textures I used to have uploaded to Minecraft Customizer. There were some textures that were based on items found in the background, mainly from the homes of the main cast, and I'm making the endeavor to bring them forward in time to the current version(s) of Minecraft. I've got most of the Applejack alternatives decided upon, and I'll be making separate packs for each pony and probably a pack of miscellaneous ones for your browsing pleasure.

Applejack is nearly finished, and after that I'll be working up some alternate textures based on Fluttershy's house, and just work my way down the line. There may be duplicates from the original CanterlotCraft, as I tried to include a lot of background objects from the show contained in some packs, but I'll do my best to get new textures churned out for each pack.

DFTBA!

New Year, Same stuff

Just a quick update for the followers.

I've managed to replace my laptop's brick, so the files of anything in-progress for CCraft are now obtainable. I will begin working on new textures shown in the snapshots soon, and as usual will release them when 1.8 is released.

I know some people are confused and ask me, "Plum, how come you don't update for some updates and not others?" I read the blotters when the game launches. If it says that a new block/item/entity has been introduced, I will usually go out of my way to make a texture for it. If not, and it's just technical things like improving performance of the game itself, I just let it be. I am quite lazy most of the time (you should see my WIP pile of crocheted items, huge), so when I see an update such as the latter example, I just shrug it off till the next MAJOR update (new content, items/blocks/entities, you get the idea). I also try to follow the snapshots and go file diving for new blocks and the like. I try to keep up, but circumstances being what they are sometimes, I get behind on things (CCraft is not a huge priority, I make it for fun), I'm only human, and I have flaws like anyone else, so try not to lift me upon a pedestal, it only makes me look down on you (see what I did there?)

Anyway, thanks for reading my crazed ramblings. I wanted everyone who follows here that I am indeed alive and well (for the most part), and I'll try to throw as much energy as I can spare toward CCraft.

Till next time,
Plum
