1.8 STUFF

Been busy texturizing for 1.8 stuff. One of the giant mushrooms has changed color from red to violet (I can't get enough violet). I also retextured for mossy/cracked/stone brick. I have an alternate design set aside for the stone brick if nobody likes it, as it's very similar to the pattern in the given default texture. I fixed up vines, watermelons and iron bars as well. For items, I've been busy texturing armors, and finished the iron set. Iron has an amber/pearl jewel featured for an accent.

Plans for more stuff
-Going to change dyes into more jewels
-Do the other meats (update porkchops, steaks and chicken)
-Fiddle around with tools some more
-Skin up Endermen and the Blue Spiders once the textures are released
-GUI Flavors for your favorite pony, and possibly just a plain default one based on colors from the show's logo. (Currently the pack has a Rainbow Dash theme, since it was the first one that came to mind) I'm happy to do requests for background/lesser ponies, but that may take time as the 1.8 update will keep me busy for a bit.
-Skin up the achievements screen
-Get going on the kz file for pony-related art in-game. I'm hoping to get permission from the folks who have already created kz files with ponies in them, but I'll more than likely be making my own file with neat things to use for paintings.

I am considering supporting for some mods, but it's still up in the air as 1.8 is practically around the corner and things are gonna get out of date and changed. I'll brew on it and consider which mods I'll support, but if you have suggestions, I'm happy to hear them!

Take care everyone! I'll be putting a link in the sidebar so you don't have to go through every post to get the latest updates!

Quickie Mob Update

Updated the files to include re-textured slimes, pigmen and zombie pigmen. I'll update mobs again once 1.8 is released with the inclusion of endermen and the blue spiders.

Happy hunting everypony!

Oh hey look! There's a file here!

This texture pack is themed from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic on the Hub. Anything intellectual in the pack belongs to the Hub and Hasbro and the great staff who made the show. A big shoutout to my bronies and pegasisters for their patience while I've been making this pack. I've completed it to a point that I'm so far satisfied with, and I hope to get lots of feedback concerning elements of this pack.

Some notes:
Not all the icons are done yet, I hate doing icons, but some have been changed to match the theme better (cookies= cupcakes for example).
There are some placeholder files that I haven't re-skinned (namely spiders, which come from Girlcraft). Most mobs except for pigmen, humans and zombie pigmen have been changed (haven't thought of a good excuse for this yet).

I'm happy to answer any questions someone has for this pack and I'm open to suggestions as well, since I got stuck on several items (pant armor being a major conundrum).

I hope you enjoy this pack, I may add more gui flavors to satisfy all MLP fans, I'll need time to make them of course, but for now, enjoy the Rainbow Dash themed GUI.

Thanks for looking! Check out my MLP Gijinka skins if you're into that kind of thing!

Edit: See latest post for updated files!]

1.7 Updates!

With the update of Minecraft 1.8 looming around the corner, I've been busy updating the pack to be compatible with the additions in 1.7.

Added:
Pistons

The major project for this pack at the moment is now editing all the in-game icons into more Pony-esque themes. For example: cookies are now cupcakes, and slimeballs will become frosting. Once more food-items are introduced into the base game, I'll add icons accordingly.

I'll leave you with another screenshot of the pack being tested on the Texture Pack Test track found on the Minecraft Forums.

Happy Minecrafting!

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to the blog for my Minecraft texture: My Little Minecraft. This texture draws inspiration from the TV show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

What's Minecraft?
Minecraft is an open-ended game in which players can build structures of any kind, the only limit is your imagination. From quaint villages to massive super-fortresses, Minecraft lets you build anything to your heart's desire. Visit http://www.minecraft.net/ for more information on this game.

What's My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic?
It's a cartoon that's airing on Discovery's Hub channel. The show is based on the toy line My Little Pony, and the character designs are by Lauren Faust (The Powerpuff Girls, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends). The show focuses on six ponies and their lives, and what they learn from each other. This show is different than others aimed toward girls, as the characters are all unique in their own way. The show has many older fans of every age and gender, which makes the community surrounding the fandom all the more fun to enjoy.

Why?
Cause I like the show, and I like Minecraft. I like the show's style of animation, especially the colors, and the characters are engaging, and not flat.

Enough talk! I require screenshots!

As of this post, the pack is still in progress, but much of the terrain is finished or requires minor editing. This pack will have many changes to the look of Minecraft, including, mobs, armor, terrain and items. There are still some things needing to be fixed or made, so I won't be releasing the pack quite yet for testing/play. I apologize for the inconvience.

Much of this pack was inspired by Cutecraft and Girlcraft, and of course, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
